WELCOME to Arising Light International! We appreciate your interest in this ministry, which the Lord called us to begin in Lexington, Kentucky. You might ask, why start a new work in this city, when there are many churches here already? First and foremost, because church is the invention of God, we are not starting a new work. We are simply co-building upon the foundation which has already been laid, which is the revelation of who Jesus Christ is (see Matthew 16:18 and Ephesians 2:20). The Lord continues to direct the building of His church, and our only desire is to honor and obey Him. At the same time, however, it is not our desire to duplicate man-made traditions. Christ did not die and rise again to start a religion. He died and rose again to start a spiritual revolution that would transform the world! The church is the organization that God has intended for this purpose.
At Arising Light International, we have a vision to impact the globe by leading and demonstrating a return to God’s original blueprint for church. We believe that the Bible is God’s authoritative Word, containing the doctrine and method for how things are to be done. That’s how it worked in the early church, and the Scripture instructs us to contend for the faith which was delivered unto the saints (Jude 3). This is of vital importance, because in these turbulent times in which we are living, people of every nation need to see the true church of Jesus Christ reflecting the glory of God, and that is only possible if we follow His will closely. God’s way is always the best way.
In fulfilling this call, we do not intend to criticize or to weaken any specific church body or denomination. As a matter of fact, it is our prayer that every church body will flourish that preaches the truth about Jesus Christ! We are trusting God for His favor and stamp of approval as we move out in obedience and faith. Most of all, we want to acknowledge our dependence on Him, because if He doesn’t build Arising Light International, we will labor in vain (Psalm 127:1).
With that said, we’re looking for participants, not merely “joiners”. We want to invest in sincere people who are seeking after truth, hungry for more of God, and who will be faithful and committed disciples following our example as we follow Christ. Our end goal is to empower, equip and mobilize believers around the world in order to bring in the end-time harvest. Every person has a God-given potential and purpose!

Arising Light International is a Christ-centered, Biblically correct church community. Being Christ-centered, we do not place our trust in human wisdom or effort, but in our relationship with Jesus the Son of God. In other words, we take the focus off of ourselves (“what’s in it for me?”) and place it solely on the head of the church, Jesus (what we can accomplish through humble and faithful obedience to His ongoing leadership – please see Ephesians 4:15-16 and Philippians 4:13). This emphasis is not only our proper duty to the One who created us, but it is also necessary in order for us to fulfill His purpose in liberating a broken world.
As a Biblically correct church community, the members of Arising Light International unapologetically subscribe to a worldview that reflects the truth of God’s word in Scripture. We are convinced that the Bible is still relevant in this day and age and contains all the spiritual information that we need (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit helps us to correctly understand God’s word, and He also helps us to properly and practically apply it to our daily lives.
I realize that many people---even some who call themselves Christians---believe the Bible was merely the invention of religious men. I understand this thinking, because I used to share that mindset. However, my viewpoint changed dramatically after I personally met the One who guided the writing of this great book! Accepting Jesus as my Savior and Lord radically changed my life and opened my eyes to a higher reality. I can also testify with absolute certainty that it is infinitely better to be “B.C.” (Biblically correct) than to be “P.C.”!!!
Our new website is a work in progress. With God’s blessing, it will eventually contain an archive of knowledge and training material to disciple and equip Christians around the globe. In phase one, however, it will primarily serve as a communications hub and bulletin board for all local ministries conducted by our Organization.
